Matt Assolin is a 20-year veteran of the chauffeured transportation industry. He joined his father’s company that was founded in 1982 and proceeded to grow that company ten-fold, establishing itself as the premier chauffeured transportation company in Houston and Austin as well as launching an affiliate base in over 125 countries across the globe. Mr. Assolin now serves as a Vice President for RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation, based in Washington DC, one of the largest chauffeured transportation companies in the world. In addition to our nation’s capital, RMA has offices in New York, Boston, Houston and Austin with affiliates in over 600 cities worldwide. Mr. Assolin is a past board member of the National Limousine Association (NLA) and currently chairs legislative advocacy for the chauffeured transportation industry. He is currently Vice-Chair of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Government Relations Committee and previous chair of the TBTA Government Relations and Finance Committees. He attended Texas A&M University and was a member of the Corps of Cadets, Company C-2, but ultimately graduated from the University of Houston with degrees in Finance and Economics. When not immersed in the world of transportation or business travel, he enjoys coaching select baseball where you can find him most weekends.
